Happy Birthday Mom! I love you! Hope you have a great day today!
And that is CRAZY! Tate went to the Hospital?! Thank goodness for the spirit telling you to take him. Keep me posted on all of that. That is rough. That was a difficult thing for me my sophomore year with my ACL surgery. But It also was a great testimony builder and I wouldn't trade that experience. I'll make sure to send him an email.
This Past week wasn't the best for us. Just about every appointment fell through. But we were able to do a little bit of service for Eric the guy who got baptized not to long ago. And him and Celena got married this past weekend which is super exciting especially since they are going to be in his house and so they will still be in our ward! :)
We had our Zone meeting this past Friday and so I got to see sister Kerr since she is in our zone. It's fun seeing people you know from home out here on the mission. It makes home feel a little closer. I also was able to get another Hard cover book of Mormon so I will be starting a Plan of Salvation study going through that along with the Preach my gospel study we are still doing as a mission. I love those two books! They are so useful in learning what we need to be doing in this life to prepare for eternal life with our Heavenly Father and our Families. And that is my goal. I plan on studying from those two books for the rest of my life.
Did you end up getting my package? I think I might have left that check in the envelope in the binder I sent home. You should check that and see if it's in there. Each sleeve has a theme to it so it should be in the back with the Christmas and birthday cards. Let me know if you find it in there. If not I need to clean out my suitcase. If you do you can just put it in my bank account.
Well I don't really know what else to say since really nothing has happened this week other then the usual street contacting had a few bible referrals so we went and gave them their bibles and shared the restoration and haven't been able to meet back up with them. We did get to meet with those kids again. That has been interesting each time I have gone. Sometimes it goes really well and other times it seems like we are just talking to air. I think we need to figure out how to teach every lesson with objects or pictures. That is what holds their attention the best. Also I feel like we need to connect more with the oldest one cause he is really quite the whole time and I think he might feel like this is being forced upon him because his mom makes him sit there and listen. I just wish we could play a game with them or shoot some hoops or something so he doesn't see us as teachers but more as friends. Writing this all out has actually given me some good Ideas. Thanks for listening haha amazing how the Holy Ghost can just give revelation like that! :)
Oh could I get Jordan Allred's email? have you heard anything about him?
Well I should probably email my mission president while I still have time. I love you and wish you the best this next week. Hope is is better than the last one. Remember you have a loving Heavenly Father who knows everything you face and is there to help, all you need to do is talk with him and ask for it.
Love you to the moon and back!
