Hey
So your valentines day doesn't sound super fun. I hope you are starting to feel better. That's good Tate is home from the hospital. He sounded pretty stressed about school work in his email to me. But I'm sure he'll do fine and his teachers will give him time to make it up. I hope everything goes well with the doctor tomorrow. That'd be a bummer if he had to miss New York. And don't worry about not sending a package. I know you guys have been having a crazy couple weeks. Just get everything situated at home and then you can worry about me if you'd like but I'm in great hands here.
We have been taking a few trips to the doctor here as well. Elder Andrus has had to go to get some test done. They think he might have an allergic reaction to something. So we've been doing that along with going to the fire station to get his blood pressure taken since he tested pretty high at the doctor. But he's been back down were it should be the last times we went.
That's great about Jordan. I hope everything goes well. And Kayla is getting married?! did I know about this? to who? picture? And that's great about Sari and Michael! tell them congrats for me! that's amazing! I'm so grateful for temple sealings! That's too bad Kyle couldn't go though. And they may have filled me in. They haven't emailed since Christmas. except I see one from them today just haven't read it. Tell Cary and Jenavee and Eric and Alex congrats as well. That's awesome! Who is Eric marring? and picture would be nice.
Yea I'm excited they are staying in the ward. And the members are doing great with helping him and fellow-shipping. And I'm also excited about my Book of Mormon study plan. It's been great so far. I think I will have to go slow with it though because there are a lot of other things I need to study as well. Like preach my gospel and need of investigators. Plus if the mission keeps doing mission wide studies I will have to do those and I'm pretty slow at reading. So I may just have that on the side and do it more when I'm home.
No they couldn't meet this week. They don't live with their grandma but they live on the street right behind her. And yes she is a member. And of course we try and place a Book of Mormon with the bibles! we try to teach the Restoration as well. Some people let us share with them others do not. We haven't been able to get back in with any of those ones. They are good at first but then when we leave they call us and say they're not interested.
The Holy Ghost really is so important. I love the peace and comfort he gives. I don't think I could get through a single day here without him. I am constantly receiving revelation on were to go and what to do and what to say. I notice just about everyone we teach that their spirits lift up and they are so happy by the end. I know that that is the Holy ghost. And we can have it with us always if we are doing the things we are asked to do.
You're welcome for the birthday video. I did do that with my camera. It has just been easier to wear my glasses. I still have contacts.
This past week was a lot better than the week before. We actually were able to meet with some people. We started teaching a less active in the ward who wants to come back to church. It is so great to see people who recognize the blessing of the gospel and want it in their lives. I know it blesses us and will bring us eternal joy.
We also met with Charlene again. She is an investigator and is super sweet. We read a little from the Book of Mormon and she told us how some of her friends have told her not to meet with us but she won't listen to them because she is learning from the Book of Mormon and it has been good for her. I loved hearing that. We are going to watch the restoration DVD this next week and so hopefully we will be able to commit her to work towards baptism.
Well I've got to get going but I love you and wish you the best this next week.
Love
