Hey!
The transfers where good. We are at a library in this area again so I am forced to be obedient and keep my emails short to a time limit. Sorry. The car ride was super long for transfers but was good. There is water every where across the mission I'm pretty sure. And yes it is still green and full of trees. This area is more like Gloucester than Chesapeake although it is a college town and so there is a pretty good population here. The New companion is Elder Naylor and he is really cool. I think we will get along well this transfer and work well together. He is a really good missionary. He is quite the character but that's good. Keeps things light and fun. He has been here three months or two transfers. He goes home in July. So I think he will probably get transferred out after this transfer which is a seven week transfer since the mtc is going back to three weeks. He is from North Dakota. And I think I have forgotten how to drive and this town is not a good one to relearn with all the college drivers. It's not a terribly large ward. It was probably 75ish people on Sunday. And it is part Spanish as well. I'm still not sure how active or large. Still learning it all. I know it's somewhat large. It is an all car area. And my bike was holding up good in Chesapeake. I only used it there and only every other week when members weren't coming out with us which they did all the time in Chesapeake.
I'm pretty sure I have pictures with elder Andrus. I'll have to double check.
That sounds like a good week. Stevie bues got married?! Pictures? And that's a long time for kinzie not to be at grandmas. She would come at least once a week before I left.
That's great Marlee is doing well and Kyle is managing the work. I'm praying for them. Well I pray for everyone but telling people I pray for them specifically means more, so don't let them know I pray for everyone. ;) The 27th of September?! that feels like it is just around the corner with how fast time has been going by!
That's good Tate is getting caught up. And that's good spring break is coming up. That'll be a good recovery break for him.
The figure is feeling better today. It was killing me until I fasted yesterday and now it's not bad at all. Man I love fasting! I thought I might have broken it and still think I might have but it's not bad so all's well. We may find out someday. WE were just throwing it around the parking lot waiting for the sisters to finish emailing so we could. What about hair cutting? are you talking about me cutting my own hair for the first time a couple weeks ago? Elder Naylor cut his own hair this week but I don't think he has any background. Oh unless you mean at the members. He just did a buzz cut. Elder andrus was from Rexburge Idaho. Elder Naylor lived there until he was a sophomore.
That's great about the Eagle court. Definitely send me pictures.
I live in an apartment. It is a nicer apartment but it is a four man apartment. So we share with the Zone leaders. And that is fun and also distracting. It's got perks and draw backs. There are only two four man apartments in the whole mission and the A.P.'s are the other one.
There are a few potentially good investigators here. One of them was in a car accident and has a hard time remembering things from the pain pills and the concussion he got. And the other is an active member at her church but is willing to meet and listen to us. So we will see how it all goes. I think it will bee really good though.
Well I got to get going. The members are all very nice. There is us and the sisters and the Spanish missionaries in this ward and the zone leaders are YSA so that's 8 missionaries in this ward pretty much. and The people are a lot nicer here and will actually talk with us and even let us inside so that's way great!
I am loving every minute of my mission. I hope everything is going well for you guys and hope you are enjoying everything. I love you tons!
