Hey!
This past week was great! You guys sound like you have been busy and having a good time. That's funny Tate doesn't want to make regionals. haha I remember thinking similar things in choir. But we didn't have to audition for regionals in my choirs. I still never got pictures of tyler's classroom. That's awesome that the udalls gave great talks. I Loved that message Will said. I am going to try and be better at that. Thank you!
The Baptism went really well. Eric's dad came, who is not a member, and shared a few words before the Actual baptism. It was incredible. He shared his appreciation for the church and his approval of what his son was doing and it really just brought in the spirit. We were also able to have a lesson with him the night prior about why we do family history work which he thought was really cool. He loves genealogy and getting connected with his ancestors. The area is working out good. Still a little disorganized but it's coming together really well. We got all of the essential book work done. We still want to go through our former investigators and see if anyone stands out to us. Elder Ludwigs great! I don't know what to share about my companions. Their like brothers. In the good and bad ways. I think that's what happens when you are with anyone 24-7. You get really close and you get on each others nerves from time to time. But it never lasts long like 5 min. and then back to being best of friends and getting work done. And I have no clue what he would say about me to his family. probably nothing good. Haha just kidding. We have a member in our ward who says that all the time to us. " you won't believe what you companion said about you." "what'd he say" "Nothing good. ( with a big grin on his face)" He's also like 80.
Yea you guys should totally read preach my gospel. It is incredible. And It would definitely be good for tate. I wish I would have read it before leaving.
It got a little cooler but no not really. I am wearing a short sleeve shirt still. You had to scrape Ice! Is the Ice age starting? Arizona doesn't have icey windshields. How'd the garage break? That's no fun. But corn hole is! everyone out here has it. It is great!
We didn't get to listen to the devotional. I will try and look it up and watch it or print it. unless you are planning on sending me stuff anyways then just send it.
So not a lot happened this week other than the baptism. We had to get that all squared away since we had a building change last minute. They are putting wood floors in our gym so the font was in accessible. I felt the spirit the strongest at the baptism. I love baptismal services. They are absolutely amazing. The hardest decision I'm not sure. Getting up and exercising every morning. ;) that's always a struggle. Especially now that it's a little colder. Hardest challenge still not totally sure maybe teaching about the priesthood to a preacher since he struggled with that in a past church and had convinced himself that it is not a thing ordained on us but just everyone has it. And the thing I have learned is to always listen to the spirit. It tells you all things which you should do. (and say)
This Saturday we will find out transfers for next week. I think I will stay and elder Ludwig will go but you never know anything can happen. And nothing specific to pray for just for me in general. Follow the spirit. I love you guys and wish you the best. Oh and on transfers next Wed we have a worldwide missionary devotional. :) Love you!!
Love Aaron
